  • January 4 – March 28: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • March 29 – October 26: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • October 27 – December 19: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • December 20 – January 3, 2026: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (except December 24 & 31: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Open in 2025: every day of the year except January 1 and December 25.

This year, the Domaine national de Chambord is testing a Monday closure during the low season. This will apply from November 17, 2025, to March 23, 2026, excluding school holidays (all zones).

The castle will therefore be closed on the following dates:

  • Mondays, November 17 and 24, 2025

  • Mondays, December 1, 8, and 15, 2025

Last entry: 30 minutes before closing.
French gardens: close 30 minutes before the castle.

Chateau and French gardens access

2025 prices are valid until December 31, 2025

Full rate: € 19

Reduced rate (18-25 non-European Union resident on presentation of proof of age), unemployed person from France, associate, work councils, group of 20 people or more): € 16,50

2026 prices are valid until December 31, 2026

Full price: €21 (castle + gardens) / €31 (price for residents or nationals of the European Economic Area)
Reduced price: €18.50 (valid proof required) / €28.50 (price for residents or nationals of the European Economic Area)

Free for European Union citizens under the age of 26.

Free admission (individual public): under 18 years old, long-term EU residents aged 18 to 25, disabled person + 1 accompanying person.

Privilège “card” (advantages valid for one year): € 50

Access to the site (2025)

  • Car and motorcycle parking P0: parking at 600 metres from the chateau (car park per day) : € 6. Free parking for disabled person on presenting the parking ticket upon presentation of proof.
  • Minibus parking P1: € 12
  • Coaches per day P1: € 100

Free (for buses and minibuses only): If the occupants visit the château (on presentation of the car park ticket at the ticket office when purchasing or collecting at least 7 entry tickets for coaches, at least 2 entry tickets for minibuses and subject to proof of registration with Atout France).

  • Car parking P2: € 5 / day
  • Caravan and motorhome parking P2: € 12 / 24h  –  IMPORTANT: It is forbidden to stay in the car park. Parking is allowed at night, but the park may under no circumstances be used as an accommodation area for motorhomes. No water or electricity supply space is provided.
  • Free cycle rack

Access to the site (2026)

Parking lots are open 24/7 – No advance reservation.
Payment can be made on-site by credit card 24/7 at the automatic terminals.
Cash payment is accepted only from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (or 5:30 PM in high season, April to October, at the Welcome Hall).

P0 Parking – 600 m from the castle (light vehicles)

  • Cars, motorcycles: €8 / day (height < 2.10 m)
  • Spaces reserved for people with disabilities: free upon presentation of a proof and the parking ticket at the cashier
  • Tip: pay your parking as soon as you arrive at the automatic terminals

P1 Parking – 600 m from the castle (buses and minibuses)

  • Minibus: €15 / day
  • Coach: €100 / day
  • Free for buses and minibuses whose passengers visit the castle:
    • Coaches: proof of purchase of at least 8 entry tickets to be presented at the cashier
    • Minibuses: proof of purchase of at least 1 entry ticket to be presented at the cashier

P2 Parking – 750 m from the castle

  • Light vehicles (height < 2.10 m): €8 / day
  • Camper vans and light vehicles (height > 2.10 m): €15 / 24h
  • Important: overnight stay is allowed, but the parking cannot be used as a campsite. No water refill, electricity, or waste disposal facilities are provided.

P3 Parking – 850 m from the castle (cars only)

  • €8 / day
  • Tip: pay your parking as soon as you arrive at the automatic terminals

10-Parking Ticket Card (cars)

  • €10, valid for 1 year (available at the castle ticket offices)
