Chambord was the initiator of the first sound and light show in the world in 1952, an event inaugurated by President Vincent Auriol! Today, Chambord is renewing this tradition and would like to welcome you for a new sound and light show.
More than 500 years ago, François I, the first patron of the arts and protector of artists, ordered the construction of Chambord castle, a true jewel of Renaissance architecture. The unique and enchanting atmosphere is felt as soon as you arrive, after crossing the forest, when you find yourself facing this monument built in the heart of the largest walled forest park in Europe. Included in the first list of historical monuments in 1840 and in the Unesco World Heritage List since 1981, it is the only royal estate still intact.
On May 20 and 21, 2022, two exceptional evenings are organized to make you discover the history of the Castle, its myths and legends. During this great night show, images, actors, light and pyrotechnics will intermingle to make you dream.
A monumental show to see the castle as you have never seen it before!
