As in previous years, the exceptional decorations and Christmas activities will punctuate the life of the castle for a month.

Every winter, on the occasion of Christmas celebrations, Chambord Castle lights up with a thousand lights and makes the eyes of all its visitors shine. For the youngest, Chambord is perceived as the monument of fairy tales by essence. As for the older ones, they (re)discover an enchanting place!

Have you ever visited “a building as beautiful as a fairy palace and as big as a palace of kings”? From December 1st in a magical and warm atmosphere, discover Chambord as you have never seen it before!

New products 2019 :

– “Sapins de génie”, an exhibition and competition of fir trees created by brands selected both for their reputation and their know-how: choose the most beautiful tree!

– A decoration in the colours of the Italian Renaissance to mark Chambord’s 500th anniversary

and for the second year, very beautiful illuminations of the French gardens and lighting of the north facade of the castle

Chambord offers a timeless moment in an idyllic setting. As in previous years, Christmas activities will punctuate the life of the castle for a month.

For this seventh edition, Chambord dresses for winter by adorning its interior with majestic fir trees and a sumptuous decoration. From the ground floor to the 2nd floor, via the entrance porch, the famous double-revolution staircase and the chapel, the tour route is enhanced by the magic of Christmas.

The outside alleys are also embellished with a hundred magnificent fir trees that light up as soon as night falls, just like the yew trees in the French gardens.

To anticipate the 500th anniversary of Chambord, we are launching a campaign to adopt a vine in Chambord’s historic vineyard, planted in 1518.
