Getting away from it all by bike

From 7 to 11 April and from 18 August to 12 September, set off on a bicycle adventure to remember in the closed estate of Chambord. Spend two hours as one of a small group cycling through a major wildlife reserve. You will explore the serenity of a protected world in the company of a guide who will share his knowledge of the forest milieu and the estate’s history with you. An ideal opportunity to learn something about the conservation of this natural heritage and to acquaint yourself with the means employed to ensure sustainable management of the flora-fauna balance and for conservation of emblematic biotopes. A great half-day in the saddle! 9, 18 and 24 May, experience the private world of the Chambord National Estate’s reserve in the company of a group leader. As one of a small party of cyclists, this is a delightful way to discover the remarkable diversity of Chambord forest’s landscapes. This is a lovely outing as a family or with friends into the peace and quiet of the forest, giving you an insight into the way its environments and flora are managed (ponds, marshes, coppices under the tall trees and much more besides).
